For The Love of Dog(s)

Dogs have always been very special to me, but it was a long time coming to actually be working with them. My husband and I were professional foodies for over 35 years., our careers in hospitality and restaurants (I was a 3rd generation restaurant owner, spending most of my time in the kitchen!). I do love to cook, and have made our dogs' homemade food (cooked and raw diet) for the past 3 decades. I have been blessed with amazing dogs for as long as I can remember, but training them was just a personal hobby. When we finally decided to sell our family restaurant, I felt that I knew at least two things for sure: how to make good food, and, how to raise good dogs. Having always felt a strong connection to these marvelous canines, I decided to follow my heart and embarked on a variety of dog-related work projects, training apprenticeships, various volunteer opportunities, and continued my new path with hands-on practicums and certification courses, including dog obedience training, dog psychology and behavior modification, small animal CPR, animal Reiki, and canine nutrition. I am certified in Dog Obedience Training (with Honors); Dog Psychology and Behavior Modification; and Canine Nutrition (with Honors). The years of experience and education have strengthened my ability to be an effective trainer and make a positive impact (…thus, my company name!) on the lives of many dogs and their families since.  My absolute drive is working with a dog’s entire system to be in their best state, inside and out (my '5-Step Program'), throughout all of their life stages.

 I am in huge support of the “dogs for life!” mentality, helping dog owners give the best TO their dog and get the best FROM their dog...for their entire lifetime.  We create our dogs' value system and earn the behaviors that follow; that we allow. My training programs and consultations are designed to show you how to build a strong and clear relationship with your pup from the very beginning (puppy training) and carry that solid foundation of strength, direction, and leadership throughout the dog's life (continued adult dog training, behavior modification, nutrition consultation, and obedience tune-ups).
